The COVID-19 pandemic has created a large and sustained economic shock. And it refuses to subside. We at Arvind Foundation are making an effort to initiate a process to empower women and give them a livelihood and a happy and respectable life. We have identified work that is leading to women’s empowerment. We are allowing them to work by making incense sticks, candles, bath products, cloth, jute bag making, and packing kitchen spices.

Through these initiatives, we aim to provide women with the skills and resources they need to become financially independent and self-sufficient. Our training programs not only teach them the necessary techniques but also instill confidence and a sense of community. By creating a supportive environment, we encourage collaboration and the sharing of experiences among participants.

Moreover, we are committed to ensuring that the products they create are marketed effectively, allowing these women to earn a fair income for their hard work. As they gain financial stability, they can invest in their families’ health and education, breaking the cycle of poverty.
