Mr. A K Srivastava is a key figure in hospitality education in Rajasthan. He helped establish the foundation for this field in Rajasthan. A graduate from the second batch of the second Hotel Management College in the country (1967) and the well-known Institute of Hotel Management Pusa, he has made significant contributions. His achievements include starting the first 3-year Hotel Management program in Rajasthan, being part of the team that launched the first three-year degree program in the country, and founding the first government Hotel Management college in the state. Further, he initiated the first Hotel Management degree program at Rajasthan Technical University, the first Hotel Management program by a private sector university and the first Hotel Management degree program in collaboration with a hotel chain in Rajasthan.
